How Technology Impacts Us

It’s important for us to note, that technology is not bad. Well, at least we don’t think so. But like everything, too much of something means we aren’t doing enough of another thing, after all time is finite. What we are learning is that specifically social media, is only a social platform, not a social EMOTIONAL platform. The difference between being connected and connecting is the emotional piece. That’s the stuff that people need. So cheers to more connecting by being less “connected,” and remember everything in life that is hard, is almost ALWAYS worth it!

The founders of Talk to my Face are licensed therapists who actually like social media and tech. We just know first hand that people need more opportunity to connect with other people in real life to not just feel great, but to survive. More to come on how we are using science and social media to get people off their apps and into their life. #intentionallyvague
